Software Automation Engineer for highly motivated self-starter and core software developers, Softech Worldwide is looking for experienced Software Automation Engineers/Developers.
THE ROLE:
- Build and maintain new test automation frameworks and supporting infrastructure.
- Write scripts, testing code to automate functional test cases.
- Design and Develop Web test scripts, unit tests for ASP.NET, Silverlight and WCF applications.
- Read and evaluate code and provide feedback about potential improvements.
- Promote best practices and support adoption of ideal testing patterns as part of the development process.
- Develop Functional and Detailed Design Specifications from formal and informal User Requirement Specifications.
- Debug third party’s developed software.
- Fault-find complex automation equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of code developed by self or others.
- Work to tight schedules.
- Prioritize multiple tasks.
- Develop, debug and validate Control System software programs.
- Analyze, understand, fault-find and modify software programs written by other developers.
Technical skills:
- Strong concepts of OOP, Design, Databases, Data structures.
- Strong Analytical and Creative thinking skills.
- Strong concepts and 2+ years of working experience in Web Application development.
- 2+ years of working experience in MS SQL.
- WCF and Silverlight experience is preferred.
- Can work without technical supervision.
Management/Interpersonal Skills:
- Good Interpersonal and Motivational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English language.
